MONTEREY PARK, CA – Surrounded by friends, families, and colleagues, East Los Angeles College (ELAC) celebrated its first Annual Unsung Heroes Program Luncheon Ceremony, where eight ELAC Employees were selected and recognized by the ELAC employees for their unwavering commitment to our students and the ELAC family. The event theme, "Unsung Heroes," celebrated and acknowledged all ELAC employees who have gone beyond the call of duty.
“The Unsung Heroes Awards Ceremony is a wonderful opportunity to shine a light on those who tirelessly contribute to our college. Their dedication and hard work often go unnoticed, and this event is our way of showing gratitude and appreciation,” said ELAC President Dr. Alberto J. Roman. “This event highlights individuals whose efforts often go unrecognized but are essential to the college's success and community spirit. These heroes exemplify dedication, hard work, and a commitment to making ELAC a better place for all.”
