Priscilla Lizárraga

As Senior Vice President of TELACU Industries, Priscilla Lizárraga is responsible for the direction and advancement of TELACU’s corporate image—managing PR, IT, creative services, and corporate communications.

The nation’s largest Community Development Corporation (CDC), TELACU has been improving the lives of individuals and families through community development, economic empowerment, and educational advancement for more than half a century.

Secretary-Treasurer of the TELACU Education Foundation, Priscilla is also Executive Producer of its Annual Building the Dream Gala. Proceeds from the Gala annually support 2,000 first- generation LMI high school, college and graduate school students, as well as veterans. Over its nearly 40-year history, 98% of high schoolers graduate and pursue higher education; 99% of college students earn at minimum a Bachelor’s. And 75% of degrees earned are in a STEM- or Business-related discipline, with the majority being earned by women!

Priscilla has served in leadership positions with numerous organizations including the Boards of the East LA College Foundation, LA Music Center’s Blue Ribbon Committee, and Hispanics for LA Opera. As an expression of her deep and abiding faith, in addition to her lifelong service in the music and women’s ministries departments, she has also been very active in local and national church government.

Her numerous recognitions include Hispanics for LA Opera’s Placido Domingo Award; Woman of the Year from Adventist Health White Memorial and MAOF; and awards from educational institutions such as Cal State LA and the University of La Verne. Together with her husband of 60 years, she has also been honored with USC’s Legacy Award, Lifetime Achievement Awards from SC Leadership Network and the OC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and Pascal Murray’s Award for Outstanding Philanthropy.

Priscilla and her husband David have been blessed with one son, three granddaughters, and two great-granddaughters!
